SSMT Chapter 6
" Alright then!" Shouka exclaimed, pointing at Inugami, " Bring it on!"
" Arrogant human!" said the dog-demon, " You'll be dead in no time!" It rushed Shouka, scratching him with it's razor sharp claws.
" Gaah," Shouka cried, and then spoke in a whisper, " Dammit, if only Kobold was still able to fight. . ." Shouka then switched to a bold yell, " Oh to hell with it, You're going down!"
Shouka ran over and slammed his shoulder into the demon. The demon fell to the ground, but quickly recovered and keaped back into the air.
" Damned human, that hurt!" Inugami howled, and breathed a small stream of fire out of it's mouth. Shouka rolled out of the flame's path as fast as possible.
" Nice try!" Shouka laughed, before noticing his hood had caught on fire, " Ack, DAMMIT" He rapidly removed his hoodie and stomped the flame out. He then charged at the dog-demon, and punched it as hard as he possibly could, " Take that!"
Inugami let out a sharp cry of pain as it fell to the ground.
" Etsuko, now!" cried Shouka.
" Right! Pixie, Zio!" commanded Etsuko
The small fairy demon waved it's hand, and a bolt of lightning hit Inugami.
" AWOOOOOOOO!" the demon cried, as it tried to slink away into the shadows.
" Oh no you don't!" exclaimed Etsuko, who grabbed Inugami by the tail, picked it up, and threw it towards Shouka with all her might.
Shouka hit the demon while it was still in mid-air, " How do you like that!" he screamed.
The demon once again fell to the ground, and Shouka ran to it and stomped on it. It let out a howl of intense agony, before saying, " Alright, alright! I give up! I'll form a contract with you!"
Shouka lifted his foot, allowing Inugami to move freely, " Good boy!"
" Hrmmmmmm. . . Don't treat me like an average dog and I'll become you most faithful companion!" demanded the demon.
" Alright then, it's a deal!" Shouka lifted his phone, and a series of numeric codes appeared on the screen, before the phrase " Inugami, successfully contracted." flashed on the screen.
With that, the dog-demon disappeared in a flash of red and black light, accompanied by a howl.
" HEEEEEY!" a voice cried out, causing Shouka and Etsuko to turn around, seeing Dermitry, " Are you two okay!?"
" We sure are!" said Etsuko, proud of their accomplishment.
" It seems you survived your first major battle, that's reassuring. . ." said a fourth voice, causing Shouka, Etsuko, and Dermitry all to face the source.
Shouka, in an awed voice said, " You're. . ."
